The story behind the name

When choosing a name I wanted something that was personal that wasn't just my name.

I began to brainstorm lots of different ideas with no luck of finding one that was special. Later in the week I went to visit my Grandma and she gave me two photo albums filled with my late Grandpas work.

My Grandpa was Jim Wagland and he started a business in the mid 70's called "Valley Graphics" where he would design wine labels and business logos for local Barossa companies.

In the late 80's my Grandpa suffered from a sudden brain aneurysm resulting in his death, it took everyone by surprise.

I never got to meet my Grandpa but I thought what a better way to keep his memory alive than to use his name in my own creative work and that is how Valley Photographics began.
